Q: How long have you been in business?


Boybeads was started in November 2011 in Philadelphia, PA. We have since moved to New York, NY. All items are made by hand in New York and ship from United States Post Office locations in New York, NY.


Q: What makes you different from your competitors?


All of our bracelets and necklaces are made by hand in New York, NY. We source as many as possible of our stones, charms and tools locally, in order to support the wonderful little quirky bead shops that we love so much. With ever-increasing competition from international sources, it is difficult for these shops to stay in business without the support of the local community. That's where we (and you) can help. Buy Boybeads and you buy the security of the finest, all natural stones on the market. Additionally, you help keep small mom & pop businesses open. They are the businesses that pay local taxes and support our community, city, state and country.


Boybeads gives back! Each month we donate a portion of all profits to a different charity. In the past we have made donations to CARE, PAWS of Philadelphia, The New York Public Library, Whitman Walker Clinic, and The FEED Foundation. The more we sell, the more we give! Q: I don't see anything exactly as I want it on your website. How can I make a custom order?

Tell us what's missing! Add or remove beads or charms to/from a current design or develop something entirely different. Please e-mail [email protected] and be as specific as possible with your request. We will e-mail photo samples of your design and change the design as you wish. Then, we post it online for secure checkout with Paypal.


Q: How can I obtain free shipping?


NEW! Free USPS shipping (in USA only) for all orders over $75. To receive free shipping, first add all of your preferred items to your shopping cart. Then, enter coupon code "shipfree" in the little box beside "Discount code (optional)" on the checkout page. Shipping will be deducted from your total at checkout. International Orders do not qualify for free shipping. USA orders under $75 do not ship free. Free shipping coupon code may not be combined with any other offers.


Q: Do you have a return policy?


Absolutely! If you are not totally satisfied with your boybeads for any reason, please e-mail [email protected] before returning the item to us. We would like for every customer to be completely satisfied with his or her purchase. Refunds or exchanges are available for up to 30 days after the date the item was received by customer. If your order shipped free, actual USPS shipping charges will be deducted from your refund amount. Return shipping must be paid by the buyer.


Q: Do you ship packages internationally?


Yes; we ship worldwide. Please select your country at checkout from the dropdown menu above the "Checkout" button.


Q: How do I use a promotion/coupon code?


If you have a valid Boybeads promotion code, first add all of your preferred items to your shopping cart. Then, enter
coupon code in the little box beside "Discount code
(optional)" on the checkout page. Click the "Update" button on the checkout page before clicking "Checkout". You should notice a deduction from your total. Now proceed to the "Checkout" button to complete your transaction.


Q: What payment methods do you accept?


We only accept payments from Paypal. If you prefer another method, please find us on Etsy or SquareUP.


Q: Do you offer loyalty points, gift certificates etc?


Yes; please sign up for our newsletter to receive coupon codes and contest information. You may sign up for the newsletter by scrolling to the bottom left corner of this page and entering your e-mail address in the box to the left of "Subscribe."

Q: Why can't I add an item to my shopping cart?


If you cannot add an item to your shopping cart, then the item is sold out. Please e-mail [email protected] to inquire about future stock.


Q: Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?


Yes.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. boxes?


Yes.
